With the release of Anno 1800 Console Edition drawing ever closer, we wanted to talk a bit more about our work on the project, talk about the why and how and the experience of the team. Free Week – March 16-23
We’re also happy to announce a Free Week for Anno 1800, starting in two weeks’ time. Download and play the game on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Epic and Ubisoft Connect from March 16 till March 23rd. Or convince a friend to give it a try and join them for some multiplayer fun!
The Free Week contains the full base game experience, and as with our last Free Weeks, if you purchase the game afterwards, you can simply continue where you left off.
Anno 1800 Postlaunch-Soundtrack
Also releasing at the end of March is the full Anno 1800 postlaunch soundtrack!
While the limited edition “The Four Seasons” Vinyl from Black Screen Records has almost sold out by now (in record time): Don’t worry – you can still preorder from one of these stores. We’re of course also releasing the remaining soundtrack digitally.
The digital version of the soundtrack will make its way to the usual places like Spotify, iTunes in late March. We’ll of course update you as soon as it’s available.
Development of Anno 1800 Console Edition is supported by the German Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Action within the framework of computer games funding.
I cant seem to find the free game in Epic Games Launcher on PC
I found on Ubi Connect but your servers are sooooo slow to download the game. I have a 100MB/s connection and its doing 6MB/s
I love the music of Anno 1800 and I’m happy for the vinyls. Unfortunately I didn’t have the base game vinyls 🙁 So I’m asking you if it wouldn’t be possible to make a “complete” version with the whole soundtrack of the game?
I am saddened that there is not some grand end game threat/goal to wrestle with. A legendary kraken stalking the depths of trelawny that needs a literal fleet to drive it off, or a powerful military foe who matches the player with a fleet, or some other actual feat. The most we get is the AI outexpanding us, but that just feels grindy, not an epic task to build towards and finish. Idk.
We build this great grand empire and thats kind of it. We build the empire for the sake of building the empire, not for the sake of doing anything else. Its… kinda hollow feeling after a bit.
Just a small question, can we play on PC with a controller now?

Is it possible to transfer a save from PC to console?
Hey Darkbirt, it’s a “no” for both questions, I’m afraid. Since the PC version has, e.g. DLC features that the console version doesn’t (since the Season Pass DLC are not releasing there), the PC version does not support controller-input.

PLEASE PLESE PLESE – fix the music stopping in this BIG update! I really wish that it’s part of the update.
Also, with the music, since the beginning of Anno 1800 up to the last update, specific plays in specific regions.
For example, there are specific music that only play in the Old World, similar to the Arctic, New World, Enbesa. But with the last update, if the music DOES play, it plays the wrong music. The music that’s supposed to play only in the New World plays in the Old World as well.
I have stopped playing because of this because the music of this game makes me feel calm and this game became a relaxation for me. I tried playing again a few min. ago but I had to stop because there was no music playing. I tried restarting, deleting, reinstalling all the troubleshooting you can think of, but nothing.
So please Ubisoft Thorlof and the Ubisoft team, I understand there won’t be any more big updates or updates perhaps, with Anno 1800, so make sure you fix the music please please please.

The music issues should indeed get fixed with the upcoming Game Update. So, fingers crossed you’ll get your usual regular music again after April 4th.

I paid the whole game twice on both UC & Steam, because steam is better for me to play with friends. And I also believe the game quality is worth it.

I bought the game for the second time. Now on Steam. Because it’s still Steam. He offers me a Plant on a Tree. However, I can’t download it, give it to me please.

The “Plant a Tree” Cosmetic DLC is available to all players, you should be able to access it “Beautification” menu in the “Special” category

It’s a smaller issue, so, it didn’t make it onto the Trello board. But the problem will be fixed with the upcoming update, yes.
