Anno 1800: Game Update 14.1

Release date: May 3rd, 2 PM CEST

  • Reduced the production timer of the Fertiliser Works from 5min to 30sec and increased the building’s output storage from 1 to 5

Gameplay

  • Fixed a game crash that happened when all ships were selected when selecting a ship for an expedition
  • Added a fix to prevent all Achievements to be unlocked in-game after starting Seeds of Change
    Note: This only prevents the issue from appearing for players who have not started the game since GU 14. We are working on a fix to retroactively address it for already affected users. This, however, does take a little bit more time and will be fixed with a future update.
  • Fixed an issue with fertile ground having no impact on animal farm productivity in the scenario (Season of Silver)
  • Fixed an issue with the Bombin Weaver consuming Cotton Fabric instead of Linen (Season of Silver)
  • Fixed an issue with Oil Springs on a secondary island vanishing when trying to build an Oil Well(Season of Silver)

Multiplayer

  • Fixed an issue causing desyncs during achievement unlocks in multiplayer

Quests

  • Fixed an issue with island pickup quests not being functional (Eden Burning)
  • Fixed an issue with the gold reward not unlocking for some players (Season of Silver)
    Note: To unlock Gold, a new scenario needs to be started. It’s not possible to unlock Gold on a savegame on which Bronze or Silver was already reached previously. This is working as intended and works the same way for Silver: It’s also not possible to retroactively get Silver on a save with which Bronze was already achieved.

    Ever since this Update, My PC can’t handle the game!!
    When you wanne Save and Leave the game it even FREEZES!!

    My Season 4 pass ornaments and twitch drop ornaments have still not unlocked. Am I missing something?

    I have an i9-10980XE and the issue is NOT fixed.

    loving the game:D

    But having to constantly check on if captain Tobias is due on every docklands is driving me bananas!

    An on screen timer that you can glance at for every docklands would be so appreciated<3

      Totally agree on this!
      Like, a menu accessible from every Docklands, perhaps a small button on the Export/Import screen or from the Main Wharf window? That would make things so much easier =D

    A lot of us coop this with friends. There aren’t that many coop rts / strategy games out there and it’s really great this game supports that. I really wish you guys would focus on improving multiplayer more though. Not having the Scenarios for example be coop is a missed opportunity (or even the campaign). Likewise with the amount of crashes and desyncs drop in and out multiplayer would be fantastic. If I’m playing a game with 2 of my buddies and a third wants to join in, we have to shut the whole game down and reload (which can be tiresome with the desyncs and crashes). Please consider addressing that with future patches. Also, directx12 still doesn’t work and crashes after awhile. Which is a bummer because I gain about 20-30 fps using it. I’ve sent countless logs of it crashing and even have a save that won’t load in directx12 but will in x11 if you guys want it to track down the crash.
