Union Update – It’s “The High Life” Release Day!

Today is the day! From this moment on you can download “The High Life”, Season 3s last DLC!
Change your Skyline forever by constructing Anno 1800’s first Skyscrapers and fulfill your citizens’ new needs with additional products and buildings.
As a new monument, we introduce the massive Skyline Tower – and also let you send your people up into the sky with hot-air balloons.

Das ist schon das 2. Update nachdem das Spiel ohne Texte startet wahrscheinlich weil es bei mir auf deutsch eingestellt ist. Danach neuer Login, 2GB Lokalisierung laden. Außerdem jedesmal die Fenster aller DLCs. Nächstes Mal gehe ich nicht über den Shortcut ins Spiel sondern lade die Updates über Ubisoft, danach logge ich mich erneut wobei der Client dann hoffentlich checkt dass die Lokalisierung noch nachgeladen werden muss.
Leider zurzeit unspielbar… Habe gerade bemerkt dass ich durch die andauernden Updates 10 Stunden Spielzeit verloren habe. Ich werde vorerst die Finger von Anno lassen bis Ubisoft das mal wieder auf die Reihe bekommt. Kann ich zurzeit nur jedem empfehlen… oder halt rechtzeitig die automatischen Updates deaktivieren.

deaktiviere die automatischen Updates wie ich es weiter unten beschrieben habe und starte das Spiel über Ubisoft Connect – dann kann man es spielen.
Wollen wir hoffen, dass es bald einen Fix geben wird – man tut sich doch sonst nicht so schwer…

Hallo Anno-Fans, irgendwie ist der Wurm seit dem letzten Update drin…. “Dächer der Stadt” ganz normal installiert am 31.08. und normal gespielt – dann beim Spielstart weiteres Update erhalten, normal gespielt, Wolkenkratzer gebaut und gespeichert. Gestern ( 04.09.) plötzlich wieder ein Update – Spielstand zurückgesetzt auf April!!!!
Neustart – wieder Update 2,0 GB! Musste Update unterbrechen – heute Update 500 Mb – Neustart Update läuft gerade von 2 GB – sicher wieder “Dächer der Stadt”.
Kein vernünftiges Spielen mehr möglich und alte Spielstände nicht wiedergefunden – auch da nicht, wo sie regulär gespeichert werden…
Was ist passiert??? Liebes Anno-Team, bisher alles gut gewesen über die Jahre – und nun so ein Desaster!!!
Gebt doch mal bitte eine Antwort und vor allem einen Fix!!!
Kleine Ergänzung: Am besten ist es, die automatischen Updates bei Ubisoft Connect zu deaktivieren, Ubisoft Connect und dann das Spiel neu zu starten. Vorher muss das ca. 2 GB große Update (Dächer der Stadt) eingespielt sein – so bin ich aus der Update – Schleife herausgekommen und warte nun auf einen Fix – hoffentlich kommt er bald!
Merci pour le travail et les magnifiques détails . je suis un fan de anno depuis bien longtemps et le Anno 1800 est ‘un des meilleurs avec les DLC qui nous permet d’avoir de meilleur gameplay et complets . Le DLC High Life est l’un de mes favoris avec son détails même ci il y’a quelques bug a déploré mais dans l’ensemble je suis sous le charme . Pour resté dans le thème de l’époque industrielle un DLC sur un empire de compagnie de transport maritime civil serai pas mal avec des missions comme des expéditions et des navires comme ceux qui débarques les touristes
Thank you for hard work but there is seem more bug in upgrade 12 and High Life DLC ever than before, I hopeful wonferful team work hard to patch bug out and fixing, lot of fixing.
Especially Main Campaign (Hannah Goode’s Quest) like quest giver got wrong avatar in quest detail, there is light stay on during daytime in Eli Bleakworth’s island, Wormways Prison, one of watchtower or guard tower. New world’s Mounted Guns’ double gun/crew on it, some quest item are mistake definition. ( I don’t use mod, Just playing Officially only)

Bis gestern hab ich noch das DlC normal gespielt heute bin ich ins Spiel und das Dächer der Stadt DLC war weg und mein Spielstand auf den Stand der letzten Speicherung vor dem Release. Was soll das, muss ich jetzt das DlC neu anfangen ? Falls es überhaupt nochmal installiert wird.

Was jetzt noch fehlt wäre eine Hochbahn wie in New York. Mit einer Rampe um hoch und runter zu fahren und mit einem Weg-Segment darunter. Super Platz sparend! Das geht mir einfach nicht mehr aus dem Kopf 😀

Yesss… Now its activate!
Butttt, havent got an Update, as far as I know
..und wieder ist die Welt nicht wie sie sein soll!? Gestern (31.08.21) 1,98GB großes Update 12 runtergeladen, Spiel gestartet; erste Fahrstuhlfabrik gebaut und dann Feierabend gemacht (Spielstand abgespeichert) Heute: Spiel gestartet neues Update (0,47GB) ??? = alte Version 11.1 wieder da und! der gestern gespeicherter Spielstand ist weg. Doll! Dateien überprüfen lassen = alles (soll) in Ordnung – Spiel gestartet = Alte 11.1 Version

Genau das selbe Problem hatte ich gestern auch. Hatte sich dann gelöst als ich Uplay ein weiteres mal neu startete und das Update 12 erneut heruntergeladen und installiert wurde.
Die Savegames sind aber nicht verschwunden. Die landen im Dokumentenordner auf C. Wenn das Update wieder heruntergeladen und installiert wurde, versuch mal das Savegame manuell zu suchen. Musst einfach mal schauenund mit der Zeit vergleichen wann du das Savegame erstellt hattest. So habe ich es auch wieder finden können und nichts war verloren.
Anno/Ubisoft team, please fix the issue that some players are experiencing since the DLC launch!
As soon as I download the new update, game won’t start with message stating “game cannot be activated blah blah” ?. When I restart the PC, I sometimes get 500 mb download and launch the game without new update.
This is despite going thru routine fix measures like verifying files (x unknown times), uninstalling/installing ubisoft connect and anno (×3), clearing cache from ubisoft connect, checking microsoft security update status and etc.
I am either stuck in pre-update (no High Life) or download the update but can’t launch game.
FYI, I have ubisoft+ subscription so I do have access to the Season 3 DLC…

I got season 3 pass and The High Life is not available even though I updated the game.
Never mind restarted and got another update.
I’m having the same issue. I tried restarting, nothing happened. I purchased season pass 3, too.
It shows as if I haven’t purchased The High Life. When I clicked “Buy” it just goes to it and it says already purchased, but it’s not updating. Super frustrating.

Make sure you don’t have any background programs running that are blocking the download like Skype.

Also ich hab alles probiert es startet nur das spiel kein Update… und einen Manuellen UPDATE DICH ENDLICH MAL Knopf gibt es ja nicht… ich hab schon neugestartet etc… man wie enttäuschend…

alles super gemacht, wie immer. aber ich frage mich, warum die fertigungsstraßen nicht durch items beeinflusst werden können.
